So, a journo joins up with a real bomb squad, spends time with them on the front line, then returns home, writes a screenplay and calls it his own work. No mention of the actual guys he spent time with. Even the CO of the squad is up in arms and saying that the movie is based on his squad, with the lead character based on him (the CO) and not once have they been mentioned in any correspondence.
Any wonder the screenwriter and producer are being sued! |

Glad I didn't read this spoiler before I saw the movie thing.
I enjoyed it, not as much of a dick-flick as I expected but it did go on FOREVER. Every time I tried to escape the loungeroom boy family members would insist on pausing it so I wouldn't "miss anything". There was NO escaping.
And I liked Avatar better. Should have won. |

Good movie, not great, very gory ie close up of someone removing booby trap bomb from dead boys stomach.
I think the yanks love to glorify war but its not in my opinion worthy of blitzing the Oscars... |
